Tournament Club of Iowa is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Polk City, Iowa.
The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The course first opened for play in 2003.
The layout plays to a par of 71. There are 4 sets of tees ranging from 5039 - 7059 yards.
The course has a good mixture of open space and forest areas highlighted by hills, bluffs, ravines, valleys, mature canopied trees. There is mature hardwood tree preservation throughout course site as well as substantial water features including Big Creek (over 1-mile), lakes, and ponds. Water comes into play on 13 holes.
Excellent hole separation - the feeling that you're all alone on the course! Unique and significant elevation transitions-both nines have dramatic topography.
What you see is what you get - No Blind Shots or False Fronts.
There are 30 bunkers including green side and large fairway bunkers. The bunkers vary from small pot bunkers to large waste areas.
Residential exposure does not impede upon the golf experience.

Difficult and beautiful course. Championship course at an incredible bargin. This course is a hidden treasure. If it were located on a coast, this course would cost 5x more or higher.
